Auriga's response to the latest gambling white paper

Delivering a consistently high standard of service to the most vulnerable members of society is not only the right thing to do, but also reflects the values an organisation aspires to.

Whatever you want to achieve in relation to supporting people in vulnerable circumstances, we’re here to help you make it happen. The industries we work closest with – utilities, charities, health and welfare – are committed to sharing best practice, driving forward improvements in customer outcomes, and demonstrating that collectively, we are delivering a step change in services for people in vulnerable circumstances.

Auriga have responded quickly to the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the world adapts, so have we, by ensuring our own skills and knowledge is sufficient so that customers are protected, and services continue to function well.

Many forms of best practice are reflected in our informed and bespoke vulnerability training packages, to ensure that businesses are ready to meet the challenges posed by customers in vulnerable circumstances.

How Can Auriga Help?

We can help you improve your knowledge, policies and practical responses to the challenges you face in identifying and supporting customers facing hardship.

Auriga is aware that for many organisations ‘vulnerability’ remains a fluid concept, and there is increasing regulatory scrutiny, so firms need to plan and prioritise. We plan your training based on an informed needs analysis so that content is bespoke, helping you tackle the actual challenges and tasks that your people encounter daily.

Our training can fulfil a range of requirements. In addition to a range of vulnerability topics, we can also provide a series of comprehensive training by in-house specialists on skills such as benefit entitlement and financial wellbeing. If your staff need to be able to accurately advise on benefits, engage customers to maximise benefit income, or know how to make effective signposting and referrals, we can help. Ongoing advice, support and coaching after the course is complete can also be provided.

Flexibility

We can deliver flexible training anywhere in the UK and our methods vary from workshops, detailed manuals specific to your people, online training packages, video conferencing and other creative teaching methods. Whatever the training method, your staff will get the high-quality, usable materials they need to learn.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, the option to deliver and attend our activities in-house is restricted. In response to requests, we have developed a range of up-to-date online learning options for clients. Please get in touch with one of our team to register your interest and we’ll be back in touch to discuss your training needs.
